In 2010, the equestrian community suffered a great loss with the passing of Irene Hill. After a courageous battle with cancer, Irene passed away on December 20, 2010. She was an avid supporter of dressage in Calgary and a wonderful horsewoman. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
New for 2020! Eligibility has been expanded to include juniors, young riders, adult amateurs, and professionals. This will be a nomination-based award; those nominated will have shown outstanding support of the Calgary dressage community through various activities. The bursary is $350.00 for the year.
